Learning experiences (PGD in STEAM Education)

I am Sony Silwal Maharjan all the way from Godawari . I am proud of my birthplace as it is rich in natural beauties. Here you can visit different sites to taste nature's love and observe nature's gift to us. Currently, I am working at Regent Residential School,Dhapakhel.I feel lucky to be a member of my workplace because it has totally changed my personalism and professionalism.I am enjoying my job each day with my dear colleagues.

Firstly,I would like to thank my respected sir of Regent School for letting me know about this PGD program which was totally new to me. Later, I got to know its contents and goals which are very practical for us in teaching-learning process.Honestly I was feeling like a burden to manage time for this study at the very beginning but later time was managed itself and I am thankful for myself for taking a good decision to be a member of KU family as well.

Although the learning mode is virtual we are having great sharing with our facillitators and friends. Our respected facillitators always try to make our sessions more and more informative with full interactions. This is what I learned and practicing at my workplace too.I can grab more ideas from my friends and facillitators which are very much precious to me. STEAM is known as   science(explore, inquiry),technology(using local and modern tools),engineering(design, manufacture),arts(creation, imagination, expression) and maths(analyze, logic, predict), I am learning to integrate STEAM pedagogy in teaching-learning activities. Learning never ends and I am glad to be a learner.

Thank you!
